Music Composition

DJ Stoltz Records offers original music composition and audio production services for local artists and media. To receive a quote for your project please contact us with the details of your project including genre of music, music examples you want the created music to sound similar to, the type of media this will be for (radio spot, video, solo artist, etc) and the rights you wish to receive for the created music for an accurate quote.

Below are tracks which were created for past clients or original music that clients have asked to use in their projects. Feel free to listen to them and browse around as many styles of music, instrumentation and production techniques are used throughout these samples.

Most of these tracks were produced using FL Studio - click the picture on the bottom of this page to see what the software production environment looks like.

There are two ways to license a track from DJ Stoltz Records - leasing rights and exclusive rights. Leasing rights give you permission to use a track for one project for a flat fee while all rights to the song still belong to DJ Stoltz Records. Cost for a lease can range from $30-$75 depending on the complexity and time involved producing a track. If you wish to use the produced track on more than one project then multiple leasing rights will be arranged at a slightly discounted price depending on the number of projects. Due to the nature of leasing rights DJ Stoltz Records will be allowed to sell leasing or exclusive rights of the same track to other clients.

Exclusive rights give you complete control and ownership of the track and you can use it however you see fit - it's as if you created the song yourself! This means you can distribute it in any medium, remix, sample and even sell the track yourself if you wish to. Cost of exclusive rights will vary from $300-$500 depending on the complexity and time involved with production. DJ Stoltz Records will retain no rights to the song but will be allowed to use the track simply as an audio demo for future clients.

All options are royalty free and past clients from mobile gigs (weddings and other events) will receive a nice discount on their project
